"I'd like to introduce information about new music playing software.
As I have been hearing and writing about many times, there are many
software applications that have a better sound than iTunes--the easiest software to use.
However, most of these are not easy to use--ex.Cubase can not play multiple
tunes continuously --- Something that most PC-audiophiles are concerned about.
Amarra -- I had chance to test it this time-- is a software application for the Apple Mac only. It has an easy User Interface (UI) and excellent sound. It uses iTunes itself for UI
and SSE that is
the sound engine made by Sonic Studio.
Testing it, I recognized the improvement in the sound quality quickly.
The sound is clearly better than iTunes.

... "Very exciting is a Software-AddOn that is offered by Amarra for Apple OS X. Amarra (picture 3) uses the signal of iTunes before the sound preparation and volume control of iTunes will cause damage it. After this Amarra sends the signal that is highly correctly-timed to the audio output. The directly A/B comparison shows a much better playback than played with iTunes. Especially the low bass frequencies signals are better contoured, high frequencies are sound silky smooth. ...".
